After a short induction and training session, volunteers will be assigned permission to add and/or edit bibliographical records in the IHO database. Easy to follow ‘Inputting Guidelines for Volunteers’ will be available online for compilers to reference at all times. There are three levels of permissions: Contributor, Editor and Administrator. Contributors can add Monograph, Article in Book, Article in Journal and Thesis records. Editors can add and edit records, they will also be able to clean existing bibliographical data. Administrators will have the same permissions as Contributors and Editors, while also managing complier profiles.

Compilers will have the ability to contribute to the IHO database remotely from the comfort of their own home.

Irish History Onoline is made possible by the unwavering dedication of its volunteers, without them there would be no IHO.
